Managing Director delivers technical presentation at International Symposium on Concrete Roads

From 3 to 6 November 2026, the 15th International Symposium on Concrete Roads is taking place in Málaga, Spain. A highlight of our participation was the technical presentation by our Managing Director Björn Mordhorst on 5 November, in which he presented the performance and testing conducted as part of the German technical approval process for our admixture DURAHIT® ASR-STOP.
 
Enhancing Concrete Durability Through Effective ASR Mitigation

Alkali-silica reaction (ASR) poses a significant challenge, particularly in concrete road construction, as it can lead to cracking and long-term deterioration of concrete structures. The presentation focused on the extensive performance tests demonstrating the effectiveness of the admixture as part of the German technical approval process.
