DURAHIT® ASR-STOP PRESENTED AT ROADVIP 2026 IN POLAND

At the Konferencja Drogowa RoadVIP 2026 in Poland, our Managing Director presented our new product DURAHIT® ASR-STOP to an international audience of industry professionals. The presentation focused on the Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR), one of the major challenges affecting the durability of concrete structures.
 
Over time, ASR can cause cracking, spalling, and structural damage, significantly reducing the service life of infrastructure.

With DURAHIT® ASR-STOP, HA-BE Betonchemie offers an innovative solution specifically developed to inhibit this harmful reaction. Its advanced formulation prevents the formation of expansive gel layers that typically lead to concrete deterioration and damage. Another key benefit of the admixture is the possibility to use regional aggregates and recycled materials that would otherwise be problematic due to reactive silica content. This contributes to shorter transport distances, lower CO₂ emissions, and the conservation of natural resources, and supports sustainable construction and circular-economy approaches.

Typical applications for DURAHIT® ASR-STOP include pavements, airport infrastructure, bridges, water-exposed structures, and other highly durable concrete applications subjected to demanding conditions.
