CO₂-REDUCED CONCRETE IN NEW DIMENSIONS

EDGE Friedrichspark Berlin sets new standards with our admixtures

The EDGE Friedrichspark project in Berlin marked a significant milestone in sustainable construction: for the first time, CO₂-reduced concrete was used in such large quantities. A total of around 13,000 m³ of CO₂-reduced concrete was produced using our innovative PANTARHIT® superplasticiser – a flagship project for climate-friendly construction in Germany.

Our admixture solutions such as the superplasticizer PANTARHIT® enable the consistent implementation of sustainable concrete formulations. They support the use of cements with a reduced clinker content, allow the use of recycled and resource-saving raw materials, and contribute to increasing the durability of concrete through optimised processing properties.

With EDGE Friedrichspark, we are sending a strong signal together with our partners for the transformation of the construction industry towards greater climate protection and resource efficiency.
